It don't matter One Iota News has learned that last week 17 Hobby Balloonists where shot down during the annual "Sonora Desert Let's Get High in the Desert" Balloon Enthusiasts and Marijuana Explorers fly high and get high event held annually in the Sonora Desert.
The turn out was fabulous even when considering the number of participants who found themselves getting stoned and watching the event on television as they forgot the date of the event while still others were confused as to where the "Sonora Desert Let's Get High in the Desert"event was being held.
Unfortunately, "The Annual Sonora Desert Let's Get High in the Desert" Balloon Enthusiasts and Marijuana Explorers dual event happened to scheduled on the same weekend as the "Second Annual Get Drunk and Shoot off your Junk" local militia outing.

Not very deep background reporting by Iota News deep background reporters has learned the militia - who call themselves the "Don't Tread on my Keg Militia" - had been out scouting a location for their event. There had been some consternation as there was a concern that it might get too hot in the desert and driving distance to the nearest ammo and liquor store.
When they had finally made a decision and settled on a location for their event they, sadly had popped open some beers and a fresh keg and started shooting their AR-15's off into the air!
No deaths were reported and a card from the "Don't Tread on my Keg Militia"to the "Sonora Desert Let's Get High in the Desert Balloon Enthusiasts and Marijuana Explorers" apologizing for their error. "At least we didn't shoot each other this time..." Said the leader of the "Don't Tread on my Keg Militia" He would only give his first name Melvin, Militia rank and social security number. Melvin, Captain, social security number 352-85-3848, went on to tell Iota that the reason they were in the desert scouting a location was because at the "First Annual Get Drunk and Shoot off your Junk" event there was, well, an event.
Upon returning out of the woods after near their encampment, after relieving themselves, a number of militia men had frightened some of the other rather soused militia men and shot were exchanged, beer was spilled and one keg was destroyed and they did not get their deposit back. "We felt..._ continued Melvin "If we were in the desert it would be more difficult to scare each other."
